Meet Aaron Froman, a Construction Manager who has been with Network Connex since 2025. Aaron works at our Atlanta, GA location where he is responsible for leading the cabinet installation crew and working closely with customers. With a focus on quality, safety, and efficient execution, Aaron helps ensure every project is completed to the highest standard.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CAREER PATH AND WHAT LED YOU TO YOUR CURRENT ROLE?
My brother Ryan Kennedy worked with Fairhaven, and Network Connex for over 15 years. He was able to introduce me to Michael Thomas and that’s when I got hired on. I started off as a tech but really caught on quick with this job. Luckily, I was able to move up quickly and help this company prosper.
WHAT KINDS OF EDUCATION OR ON THE JOB TRAINING HAVE HELPED YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR CURRENT JOB?
I have no formal education in the data center industry. It has been 100% on the job training and I am very grateful to teammates Lee Jackson and Eric Hurst for training me and seeing my potential.
WHAT CHARACTERISTICS DO YOU THINK ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR ROLE?
Being a construction manager, you have to be able to handle running a crew of several men, you have to deal with a lot of different personalities, and you have to keep order. I also deal a lot with our customers and keeping them informed on our day-to-day work. So being a people person is very helpful.
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY AT WORK LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
Once I get the crew started on our daily task, I work between them and meetings with customers just trying to keep everything on track. I am very fortunate to have a great crew that I can rely on.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?
I am always busy. I am always working my mind and I really enjoy that. I love having a problem and having to figure out how to solve it.
HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OUTSIDE OF WORK?
When I am out of town, I enjoy sight seeing. That is a great bonus with this job—seeing places I would never have a chance to see otherwise. When I am home, I love to spend time with my wife of 23 years and my 5 beautiful girls.
