That focus led to the launch of the Network Connex Leadership Academy, a first‑of‑its‑kind development experience designed to equip our managers with the skills, tools, and support they need to lead effectively as we scale.

Why the Leadership Academy?
The Leadership Academy aims to strengthen and elevate the capabilities of managers across all of our business units, equipping them with the tools to lead effectively and retain our best teammates for success in a rapidly evolving landscape. To bring this vision to life, we’ve partnered with a respected leadership consulting agency that specializes in experiential learning and leadership transformation. Participants will engage in a blended learning program comprised of:
- eLearning courses
- In‑person professional development workshops
- Interactive coaching experiences
A series of sessions scheduled over 9 months of 2026 will focus on foundational power skills essential to great leadership, including:
- Communication
- Conflict Resolution
- Client Relations
- Emotional Intelligence
- People Management
- Self‑Awareness
A Strong Start: The DiSC Workshop
We’re so proud to have launched the 2026 program with the first in‑person Academy session: the DiSC Workshop. To prepare for this session, all participating leaders completed the DiSC assessment to gain meaningful insights into their communication styles and behavioral tendencies. The workshop that followed was highly interactive and focused on:
- Understanding each leader’s personal communication preferences
- Building self‑awareness of communication styles and behaviors
- Recognizing personality & communication styles in others
- Understanding how to lead high performing teams through better alignment of communication styles

So far, post‑session feedback has been incredibly positive. Participants have rated the session 4.9 out of 5 stars and reported:
- Increased confidence in their leadership approach
- Better understanding of their team members’ communication dynamics
- Valuable discussions that sparked reflection and continued conversations
- Appreciation for practical tools they can apply immediately in their daily roles

The momentum is strong and this is just the beginning!
The 240 enrolled teammates (!!) will continue to move through the Leadership Academy curriculum for the rest of 2026 as members of eight (8) training cohorts. Each in-person or online session will further elevate leadership skills and empower managers to better support their teams and drive operational excellence. Along the way, members of each cohort are also building trust and deeper connections with each other as they experience this transformative opportunity together. We’ll continue to share photos and highlights from sessions throughout the year as we continue investing in our people and begin to see the lasting impact this Academy will create across the organization.
