As hyperscale data center demand accelerates, our subsidiary, National Technologies (NTI), continues to rise to the challenge as a national infrastructure partner—offering end-to-end services, specialized teams, and the flexibility to deploy anywhere critical connectivity is needed.
In this spotlight, we showcase how our team is delivering on the full lifecycle of data center infrastructure for a leading global hyperscaler, expanding from coast to coast and across oceans.
From Shell to Live Infrastructure: Soup to Nuts Solutions
For this key customer, our scope is as comprehensive as it gets. Once a general contractor hands over the shell of the building, our team steps in to transform it into a fully functional data center. That includes:
- High-count fiber installation
- LC jumper and AOC cable deployment
- Conveyance fit out—basket tray, fiber runners, seismic bracing
- Rack-and-stack of equipment, RPDUs, and patching
- Powering and energizing rack-mounted gear
While customers often provide defined scopes, our deep experience allows us to contribute far beyond execution, advising the customer on optimal strand counts, layouts, and deployment sequencing. These types of insights have helped transform NTI from simply a vendor to a strategic partner.

“They tell us what they need to connect, and we collaborate with them on how to do it best—That’s where our value really shines.”
— Mike Bauer, Vice President, NTI
Specialized Teams, Nationwide Deployment
One of the most unique strengths we bring is the ability to deploy experienced hyperscale infrastructure teams anywhere including every major U.S. data center market (Dallas, Chicago, Phoenix, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Richmond, San Jose) and in emerging regions like Hammond, IN and Peoria, IL. We’ve even mobilized teammates to a site in Indonesia.
This geographic flexibility allows our hyperscale customers to maintain their growth momentum, even in markets where NTI doesn’t yet have a brick-and-mortar presence.
“We send our best people to do the job right, whether it’s in rural Indiana or halfway across the world.”
—Greg Spraetz, CRO, Network Connex
People-Powered Growth
To meet booming demand, we’ve rapidly scaled dedicated teams. So far in 2025, NTI’s Dallas headcount grew by 100 full-time employees (FTEs) and in Chicago we hired 50 teammates in support of this customer alone. Our service model prioritizes permanent W2 employees over subcontractors, ensuring all techs on the job have completed our customized training programs and can deliver consistent quality and tight control on complex, fast-moving projects.
ISP & OSP Capabilities—From Data Hall to Campus-Wide Connectivity
While the bulk of our work for this global hyperscaler focuses on in-building infrastructure, we’re also experts with outside plant (OSP) fiber systems, innerduct, and duct bank installations including high-capacity fiber links ranging from 864- to 6912-strand count cables across hyperscale campuses and metro markets. In Virginia, for instance, we recently completed a 1.5 mile run of 144-strand fiber system to connect multiple sites.

Trust & Performance to Expand the Relationship
Our relationship with this hyperscale customer began with a single Phoenix site and quickly scaled to support infrastructure buildouts of more than 500 megawatts of capacity. That growth was built on trust earned through precision work and strategic recommendations. NTI’s ability to anticipate our customers’ needs and propose best practice solutions are what set us apart as a valuable build partner.
A Bright Future Together
What’s next? NTI is working diligently on tailored program management procedures and national workforce planning that will bolster our partnership and support the customer’s long-term vision.
With boots on the ground and experience by the terabyte, our team stands ready to support the hyperscale demands of tomorrow.
